Chuck (DVD)

I recommend watching the Chuck TV series. It features a man named Chuck who works at an electronics store as a "computer nerd". Chuck is dragged into the CIA life when he opens an email from an old friend and becomes a walking government computer. The series is action-packed, hilarious, and romantic all at once. I would watch it all over again!

Dean Koontz
Odd Thomas

Odd uses his supernatural abilities to aid him on the police force (his name suits him well). He comes across various spirits including Elvis Presley. Odd's special gift allows him to solve cases, but he gets himself into a dangerous situation, putting himself and the entire town of Pico Mundo in danger. This book is a page-turner full of action as well as a bubbly love story. It is the first fantastic book of an 8-book series!

The shadow cabinet

I read Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson recently and it has me anxious for the next book to be released! It is the third book of the Shades of London series. It is mysterious and makes you wonder about the world we live in. Shadow Cabinet is a wild adventure about the supernatural world. I strongly recommend it to anyone with an interest in mysterious stories. Check our Catalog

Room: a novel

Room: a novel

I recently read "Room" by Emma Donoghue. This is unlike any novel I have ever read. It revolves around a woman that has been held hostage in a man's shed, called Room by her five-year-old son. Jack was born in Room, so to him, this is the world. This book is about their emotional and difficult journey, and what lies ahead. "Room" had me hooked from the start. Check our Catalog
