Howell Carnegie District Library Reaches Out With 24-7 Service

Carnegie District Library is reaching out to residents by adding a convenient
new 24hour-7 Day pick up and drop off service at the 
new
Howell High School Parker Campus @ 400 Wright Road. Via secured-accessible
red lockers, library patrons will be able to pick up library materials as
well as drop off library materials in the return box any time. The lockers
are located next to the LOC Federal Credit Union and the return box is located
in the parking lot, both are on the west side of the high school (facing D-19
Pinckney Road). To utilize this service, patrons must have a current Howell
Carnegie District Library card.
Materials can be requested by filling out the Pick-up Form link on www.howelllibrary.org, an e-mail confirmation will be sent indicating when the order will be available for pick up, including a numbered access code for the secured locker where the materials will be left. Requests will be filled within 36 hours of receipt, Monday – Friday and will be available for pickup 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. These and any borrowed library materials can be dropped off at the return box located in the west side parking lot. Any items not picked up at the lockers within four days will be returned to the library.
With Lansing Community College also located in this wing, the Howell Carnegie District Library staff believes that this will be a valuable resource for high school and college students, teachers and staff as well the general residents in the community.
