Nine Women, One Dress

As part of our staff summer reading challenge, to read in a format you don’t normally read, I chose this novel because it is an epistolary read.  Which is a fancy word that means a collection of stories.  In the case of this novel, each chapter is a short story which centers around one of the nine different women and the little black dress that weaves them together.

This was a quick, funny and very charming read - the perfect book if you are looking for an escape read.  I’m normally not drawn to chic lit, but I loved how the author developed the characters and used a dress as the common thread between nine completely different women.  Check our catalog
