The Hollywood Reporter

Browsing The Hollywood Reporter this week I learned that Whitney Houston’s label, Sony Music, has earned about $1.7 million from single sales since her untimely death;  that Stephen Stills flunked his audition for The Monkees and William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman recently earned stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition, I learned one of the titles considered for Lost was Nowhere, that Everybody Loves Raymond could have been called What’s With Raymond? and that Friends was almost titled Across the Hall. I know, some people would call that trivia, but I love learning the backstories for my favorite movies and television shows. What I find most compelling about The Hollywood Reporter is the meaty, in-depth stories it runs each week about Hollywood’s power brokers.  It’s one of the only magazines that I consistently read cover-to-cover.
