Michael Connelly

I just returned my copy. I enjoy reading Connelly but was disappointed in this one. It took me the full 3 weeks to get thru it. I kept at it, waiting for . . . something. It never came. Plot: The Lincoln lawyer takes on a case that nearly breaks him. If you like to live vicariously thru legal trial fiction, then this is for you. Lots and lots of legal mechanics. But if you just enjoy a suspenseful story . . . then pick up one of his others.
