Jennifer Haigh

Growing up Catholic their are a lot of mysteries and things we take on faith.  A lot is weighted by tradition.  This is an interesting and thoughtful story as told by the sister of a priest.  He is accused, as many were in the last couple decades, of a horrific act with a young boy in his charge.  The sister in the telling is able to provide a great back-story to the young men who became priests in the recent past and what their experience was like as young priests in this ceremonilaized tradition.  She speaks for all involved as she interviews them and puts together the story from everything they share.  The story is set in the Irish Catholic east coast. It is well told.  Check our catalog
