Eric Larson
Enlightened Aging

I picked up this book mainly because I’m dealing with aging parents.  I found it to be more useful for myself. The authors balance study results with stories to get across the points on how to keep healthy and active as long as possible.  They include how to build reserves to live a long active life.  They also discuss the fact that all of us will eventually reach a point where the body gives out and ways to cope with that condition.  It’s an easy read for a non-fiction book.  A lot of it is common sense but it’s always good for me to have reminders.  I would recommend this book if you’re middle aged or older.  Check our catalog
