Doll People

My youngest loves Brian Selznick, so we had to find more books that he was a part of.  We tumbled onto the Doll People series, what a treasure.  He loved it so much he read book two, The Meanest Doll in the World,  to grandma while she was visiting.  She loved it so much she checked book three out from her library in MN  The two of them read it and e-mailed each other their thoughts.  The doll house dolls have taken an oath that allows them to be alive, if they raise human suspicians they are reduced to doll state - the inability to move for 24 hours.  These little dolls have great big adventures.  The authors touch on childhood problems in a touching way, while Selznick shines yet again!  With so much illustration this would be a great series for kids that struggle with visualization.  Check our catalog
