Historical records come from many different sources. Early collections were pasted on the pages of old books or in scrapbooks. The links below will take you to the index of many books which have been donated to the howell Area Archives.
Collections housed in Archives are ever changing. Volunteers receive family histories, photographs, building and house histories, along with old newspapers, personal accounts and clippings on a daily basis. While this by no means is a complex index, the following working index will give you a good sense of our holdings.
